A. Subramani     Hailing from an agricultural family in a village near Tirupattur, Vellore district, Mr. Subramani graduated from Tamilnadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore in 1981 and got masters in the same in 1983 from TNAU Madurai with distinction. He was awarded with the Nehru Memorial Award for the outstanding performance in PG. Started his career as a lecturer in SRKMV Coimbatore and joined a nationalised bank and worked for 22 years in various branches across the country. After taking VRS in 2005, he was fully involved in social activities. Associated with an anti-corruption movement, he was also engaged in educating citizens about their rights, procedures to get services from the government departments.
